Every new school year has some changes and next year will not be any different.It is bittersweet that I am able to share with you that three of our wonderful and dedicated teachers will be retiring and not returning next year to Saint Bernard School.Mrs. Cathy Fox, Miss Gerry Mullen and Mrs. Alice Tumas have all decided to retire at the end of this current school year after their long careers in Catholic education.
I have had the great pleasure to collaborate with all three of these wonderful women of faith the past seven years.They have all been a joy and blessing to me as principal in so many ways and they will be deeply missed by me and the entire Saint Bernard School community.Their individual dedication to Catholic education is so evident not just in the 80+ years of service to our Catholic Schools, but in their living out the faith each day by their example.Please keep them in prayer as they continue their individual journeys and hopefully enjoy all that life holds for them during this next phase of their lives.The school community will acknowledge them at 8th grade Graduation Mass and at the last school Mass.Please consider attending.See “News and Gentle Reminders” for more info.
