St. Bernard Catholic Elementary School
Nestled behind St. Bernard Church lies a thriving treasure of Catholic tradition.  St. Bernard School is located four miles south of the city of Pittsburgh in beautiful Mt. Lebanon.  St. Bernard School was established in 1926 and is Middle States Accredited.
St. Bernard School is a parish school community under the leadership of Fr. David Bonnar, St. Bernard Church Pastor, and Sr. Daniela Bronka, St. Bernard School Principal.  What sets us apart from other schools in our district is our living Catholic faith.  If you are seeking a faith-based education, St. Bernard School offers a strong Catholic Tradition for your family.
St. Bernard School enrolls children from Preschool through Eighth grade.  St. Bernard Faculty and staff instill academic excellence, and nurture the development of mind, body and spirit for each child entrusted to our care.
The mission of St. Bernard School is to support families in the total education and faith formation of their children.  By providing a nurturing environment guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church, we strive to prepare our students to function as responsible, mature adults and life-long learners in an ever-changing world.
