Student Council at St. Bernard School

Student Council exists to serve the students.   Member of the Student Council are in grades six, seven, and eight.   As members, the students help the school to complete service projects, host school events, and build a sense of community at St. Bernard School.   

Some highlights from this year’s Student Council are:

 

  • Collecting candy at Halloween to donate to organizations that feed the hungry
  • Sponsoring the All-School Mardi Gras celebration
  • Planning & participating in the “Burying the Alleluia” Prayer Service
  • Planning and hosting the “Annual Family Reading Night” Sponsoring a Junior High Dance
  • Planning Catholic Schools Week Events
  • Sponsoring Fund-raising events for Chimbote, the Pittsburgh Diocese’s adopted mission
